1956 average rock and roll theme
The old folk form a society to abolish rock and roll which is depraving the young folk, and aim to close down venues hosting rock'n'roll for teenagers. Some good exhibitions of jive, one couple in particular, and Fats Domino does three numbers in person, including 'Ain't that a shame' plus other artists live. There is something infectious and spontaneous about these 50's rock films despite the unoriginal story lines. Some moments of humour too particularily from the undertaker who is always anxious for business. Lisa Gaye might reasonably be considered a sweater girl.
